A Few Airport Videos For You

Well, I am currently sitting in the Tampa airport right now. My flight got delayed 3 hours, so I was getting a little bored.

It’s funny how productive you can be when you don’t have anything else to do. I actually got through all my emails, shot 2 videos, and made a little money … All before I even boarded the plane (I am still in the terminal as I am writing this).

The videos are of two completely different topics, but they’re both really good (well, I’m a little biased because they’re my videos … :) )

Anyway, here they are … Enjoy!

(Oh yeah, please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think… thanks!)

I just wanted to write a quick post to let you all know that I will be in Vegas for the weekend for a marketing conference.

I probably will not be checking my email, but you can follow me on Twitter if you want to see what I am up to.

If any of you are going to be in Vegas this weekend feel free to message me on Twitter, and we can try to meet up.

Also, even if you don’t want to see what I am doing this weekend, you really should start using twitter.

It’s become one of my favorite tools for keeping in contact with everyone.

Sorry for the VERY short post, but I just wanted to let you know I won’t be responding to ANY email this weekend. I will have my Mac with me, but I probably won’t even turn it on while I’m there. (my twitter updates will come from my iphone).

Anyway, feel free to follow me here. I look forward to chatting with you while I’m hitting the strip!

Talk with you soon,

Ryan

p.s. I’ve been to Vegas a few times before, but is there anything you recommend me checking out while I’m there? Leave a comment, and let me know …

Mac or PC? Desktop or Laptop?

As you know, I edit A TON of videos online.

I actually use a macbook (with external monitors) to edit all of my
videos.

It works great for me, but you might be different.

A good buddy of mine, Mike Koenigs, just released a new (Mac or
PC) video that describes the ins and outs of video editing on
each system.

If you are at all interested in video editing on a Mac or PC,
you really should check this video out:

Mac or PC for Video Editing?

He does a better job than anyone I’ve seen at comparing the two
models, and actually giving you tips on what to look for when
purchasing.

So, check out the Mac or PC Video, and let me know what you think.

Have a good one!

The Video Camera Buyer’s Guide: What to Buy and Where to Get It

One of the questions I get asked the most about making videos online is “What camera should I buy?”

Well, that question is a little hard to answer for most people because it really depends on what you want to do with you camera.

Are you looking to make home movies?

Do you want something simple and cheap to upload videos to youtube?

or

Are you looking to shoot high quality motion pictures?

Well, I can’t answer any of the above questions for you … because you have to decide that for yourself.

BUT … what I can do is show you one of the best “Video Camera Buyer’s Guides” I have ever seen.

Here’s the link - Video Camera Buyer’s Guide

It’s a free tutorial from my good buddy Mike Koenigs. He shows you EXACTLY which camera is right for you.

Mike cover’s topics like:

* How to choose EXACTLY the right video camera to fit your budget
* The best low-priced cameras to buy (as low as $100)
* How to spend wisely on medium and high-priced video cameras
* Where to get the best deals…and where to avoid
* How to choose the best microphone to go with your camera
* All about video camera accessories—which ones are “must-haves”

Mike is probably one of the most knowledgeable guys when it comes to making videos, so, if you are at all interested in making videos for the internet, then you should really check this out!

I hope you enjoy it!

New Twitter Tool - Find Out “What’s Hot” On Twitter Right Now!

Here’s another twitter tool that I have been using for a while now to uncover “hot trends” in the marketplace.

Twit Scoop

TwitScoop is a tool that shows a graphical representation of the hot topics that are being talked about right now.

Twit Scoop displays a tag cloud that automatically changes sizes based on what topics are being talked about more than others.

Check out the video below for a visual demonstation:

Use Twitter To Search “Real Time”

Most of you are probably familiar with the big search engines … google, yahoo, msn, etc, but not many people are familiar with using Twitter to search.

Unlike most other search engines, you can see what people are talking about in real time!

http://search.twitter.com/

If you don’t have the URL above bookmarked, you need to do that right now. Twitter Search is quickly becoming one of my favorite tools for research on the internet.

Not only can you see what people are talking about RIGHT NOW … you can also see exactly who’s talking about it.

Looking for joint venture parnters … maybe an expert to interview… whatever information you need… you can find it by searching Twitter.

Here’s a video that explains it more:
